Carl has worked with a vast array of the industry's most prominent celebrities. In the late 1980's, while still earning his Sound Engineer and Artist Management degree from AIA in Atlanta, Carl landed a internship and 2nd engineering position with R& B Legend Curtis Mayfield and Curtom Records. To this day he credits Curtis Mayfield for his 1st break into the music industry.

After honing the skills of his trade and gaining rapid credibility, Carl landed an opportunity to work with music mogul, Dallas Austin, (Super Producer/owner of D.A.R.P Studios). In the early 1990's Carl balanced two roles critical to Austin's widely popular camp as "Assistant Studio Mgr," and "Recording Engineer" to later serving as Dallas' personal "Tracking Engineer".
